Police pursuit races across two counties in Oklahoma before concluding in Missouri

A 20-minute high-speed chase through two Oklahoma counties concluded with a wreck on Wednesday morning in Newton County, near Westview.

We have not yet revealed the driver’s name.

Around 8:45 a.m., an Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agent attempted to stop the car for a traffic violation on 290 Road and 655 Road in eastern Delaware County, east of Grove.

The motorist fled, leading cops on a high-speed pursuit that crossed Delaware County, into Ottawa County, and went east toward Missouri.

The man’s car collided shortly after 9 a.m. on Old Highway 60, approximately six miles east of Seneca and near Westview. That is where Newton County Sheriff’s deputies apprehended the man.

Newton County Jail is booking him. The charges are pending.
