Lake Roosevelt High School sent theirBoys Basketball team sent off to State B tournament by students, staff and community Feb. 28.

The boys have had an outstanding season and plan to continue that this weekend at state. All the boys and coaches have put in many hours and lots of preparing for this time.

After a tough loss, Feb. 25,, the boys will begin playing Wednesday at 9 a.m.against Wahkiakum Mules at the Spokane arena.

“First and foremost, thank you guys for coming out,” said Coach Jeremy Crollard. “Thank you for all the support this year. These boys have put in a lot of work to get to where we are. We had a goal at the beginning of the season not just to make it to state but to make it to Saturday at state. We are taking it one game at a time. We’ve had 6am practices the last two mornings to get prepared for what is ahead of us, so give these guys all the credit in the world.”

“These guys are some dogs right here. They’re going to go out to state, and they’re going to be hooping. If you can, come support them. Be loud and proud.” Says Coach, Edward Wolfe.

Almost all the boys, mostly just the seniors all had something to say for Coach Crollard and Coach Wolfe at the send off.

They all had about the same things to say: “I just want to thank Coach Crollard and Coach Wolfe for everything they’ve done for us. Not only are they good coaches, but they’re great people, so thank you guys,” said senior Tanner Whitelaw.

The boys feed off of loud energy and support from the community and they hope to see everyone there!
