This is my advice on how to stay out of trouble.

First, you should pick the right crowd/group of friends. Almost all the people that get in trouble a lot hang out with a group of people who also get in trouble; they will always talk you into getting in trouble with them. One time I was hanging out with my uncle and I got arrested for disorderly conduct.

Secondly, you should know how to shut up. Teachers don’t like when you talk nonstop, especially when they tell you to stop talking and do your work. As Mr. Files says, “Self-control is the secret to success in the classroom.” You should make a contract with yourself.

Third of all, you should (don’t have to) show respect to teachers. They love when you show respect and or brown nose them, and if you show respect often enough then if you slip up and get in trouble they most likely will let you off with a warning.

Lastly have a role model. It’s always great to have a role model to follow their footsteps into success and staying out of trouble, and having a role model will help you keep focus on a future goal.

To sum it up, it is basically to shut up and show respect and keep your focus on future goals. Thanks for reading, later.
