My name is Lily Brandon, and I am a freshman here at LR. I have been going to this school for five years now. I am in Mr. Files' Journalism class, as well as a member of both Raider Rock Club and Knowledge Bowl Team. In my free time, I read, play piano, and am taking a Spanish course online. My favorite subjects in school are Creative Writing and Art, and I am also interested in fashion and filmmaking. 

I am excited to be writing for the The Galleon because I think high school journalism is very important. I think that having students being represented in the media is a very good thing and I think that we all have a lot to say. My goal is to be as authentic as possible in my writing, explore all sides of the story, and have every viewpoint and opinion presented.
